Quentin Ullrich from Cincinnati, Ohio won the $5,000 scholarship. Under his leadership, his school's drive collected 165,000 pounds of goods, including blankets. Great job Quentin! And a huge thank you to everyone who participated, every can and food item helps a family in need.
Every county in the United States is affected by hunger. We asked young people across the United States to stock their local food pantry to help hungry families in their communities, and participants collected 567,068 pounds of food (whoa!).
Donating non-perishable items such as canned and dry goods makes it easier for food pantries to distribute food to families quickly with little waste in a crisis.
Show your friends you’re willing to help, come rain or shine. But especially rain...
