DoSomething.org hosted an exquisite refuge for members of the Tri-State Area who were not at the Sex & The City 2 fashion-show-disguised-as-a-film-premiere last night. Held at Harlem's flagship attraction, the Apollo Theater, guests congregated for the announcement of this year's DoSomething Award recipient nominees. Five Super Youth committed to service and social change took the stage to accept their nods, which were made by stars from hit TV series including Brian Baumgartner (The Office), Tristan Wilds (90210), Zach Roerig and Sara Canning (Vampire Diaries) and Elizabeth Gilles (Victorious). Each of these five young nominees received a community grant of $10,000 for their service projects. One will take home the grand prize of a $100,000 grant to be presented at the DoSomething Awards, which will air live from Los Angeles on VH1 on July 19, 2010 with host Jane Lynch.
