Check this out as Ludacris, Better World Books and Dosomething.org teamed up together to launch the Epic Book Drive in New Orleans, effecting those that were effected by Hurricane Katrina. With Ludacris serving as the spokesperson, the Epic Book Drive help provide over 30,000 New Orleans students with over 250,000 school books for a host of school libraries. More than 100,000 participants from across the country helped re-stock 69 New Orleans school libraries that had been destroyed in Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Ludacris states, “I’m proud to be a part of the Epic Book Drive and to see that over 100,000 young people participated,” said Luda. “By collecting such a huge number of books for those in need, teens around the country showed they haven’t forgotten about New Orleans and the Recovery School District.”
