Kiwibox meets Jay Sean!
You may know Jay Sean from his popular hits "Down" and "Do You Remember" but what you might have not known is this handsome brit is also known for his community work. Throughout the years, he has perfomed in and supported various charity events. Monday night was no different at the Aeropostale store in Times Square. Jay Sean came out to support DoSomething.org's Teens for Jeans, an organization that donates their efforts to collecting jeans for homeless teenagers throughout the country. We caught up with Jay Sean and here's what he had to say!

Kiwibox.com: Why are you supporting this cause?

Jay Sean: I feel like sometimes we just need to take matters into our own hands and help other human beings...It's very easy to be selfish in this world and I think it's very easy to think about me, me, me but sometimes, we need a little push to think about someone else and Teens for Jeans is just that. I have stuff lying around the house which I might never ever wear...if you're not wearing it, donate it and give it to someone who needs it.

Kiwibox.com: How important is it to get teens, specifically, off the streets?

Jay Sean: Well, I mean, the fact that 1 out of every 3 homeless people in the United States is a teenager is sickening. We barely know how to cope by ourselves at that age, how can you live on the streets like that? It's really really difficult and they need a helping hand and it's our responsibility to do that for each other.
