Staples teams with singer Ciara to collect school supplies in Springfield

Any school supplies dropped of at either Springfield Staples through Sept. 19 will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

Staples and DoSomething.org have teamed up with singer Ciara for the second annual Do Something 101 school supply drive.

As part of Do Something 101, Ciara is encouraging Springfield teens to make a difference this summer by collecting school supplies and dropping them off at their nearest Staples store, from now through September 19. In addition, Staples customers can donate $1 at any Staples store with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local teens in need.

All local school supplies and donation will be given to the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield.

Springfield’s Staples stores are located at 2135 East Independence Ave. and at 2636 N. Kansas Expressway.
