Office supply store collecting school supplies

Teens can donate school supplies, which will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County, at the Olympia Staples office supply store, as part of the national Do Something 101 school supply drive.

DoSomething.org and Staples have recruited singer-songwriter Ciara to encourage teens to participate.

The drive is taking place through Sept. 19. In addition, Staples customers can get involved by donating $1 at any Staples store with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local teens in need.

The local Staples store for supply drop off is 1200 Cooper Point Road, No. 518, Olympia.
