Supply drive to benefit local students in need
As part of a fundraiser for the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club, DoSomething.org and Staples are encouraging local teens to collect and drop off school supplies to two local Staples through Sept. 19.
Once collected, supplies can be dropped off at Staples at 19242 Soledad Canyon Road and 19141 Golden Valley Road, both in Canyon Country.
Staples customers are also able to donate $1 at any Staples store with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local teens in need.
All school supplies and donations will be given locally to the Santa Clarity Valley Boys & Girls Club, an educational and not-for-profit organization that serves disadvantaged youth.
