Teen charity DoSomething.org hosted its annual Do Something Awards Kickoff event Monday at the Apollo Theater in NYC where this year's top five "young world-changer" nominees were announced. (I was honored to serve as a judge for the first stage of the competition this year.) The prize? Each of the five nominees receives a $10,000 grant for his or her community service project and the chance to win the $100,000 grand prize to be announced on VH1 on July 19.
