Contact your local YWCA to learn more about violence against women
Throughout their 150-year history, the YWCA has been in the forefront of most major movements in the United States as a pioneer in race relations, labor union representation, and the empowerment of women.
For example, for the past 10 years, the YWCA of USA has sponsored a "Week Against Violence" in October to make the public aware of crimes against women.

I already do things like this with my school but this will broaden my horizons on more things i can do to prevent this.....
My friend Shylee and I are starting a foundation in our area tgat stops violence against women, children, and dating abuse of course. Alot of it happens around here and we just want to make people aware of it and if they stop in time this could be a world where no children/girlfriends/wives or others could be hurt!
Im looking into it right now.........im not sure if this is something im absolutley going to do
this is something that affects me personally, so there is no doubt in my mind if im going to do this project. This project will succeed
