Send a supportive message to stay in school
Send a supportive message to stay in school.
Four out of every 10 high school students in America don’t graduate from high school. It’s a statistic that’s not only appalling, but silenced. The reasons are many; from poverty to abuse, drugs, unstable homes, learning difficulties, teenage pregnancy, stereotypes, and even simple boredom. But a little encouragement goes a long way. Anything you can do to show support is a Boost.
It can be a conversation, a text message, a slap on the back, an email, or helping hand. There are a lot of teens who could use one.

I just want to say that even though its hard right now, even when it seems like theres nothing out there for you, there is. All it takes is commitment and time. For starters, come up with a goal, set that goal and reach it. No matter what others say, they can laugh at you all they want; let them laugh. Ignore all those negative comments and believe in yourself. You be all you can be. Yes, it will be hard at first, but remember what you working toward. Whether it be a nurse, doctor, lawyer, whatever it is, you go out and be that. Just imagine the feeling of accomplishment that you will receive. Even if you dont have the money, apply for scholarships. If you have a child to raise, go to night school. Do what you have to do to succeed. All you need is determination and you really have to want it. Hard work does pay off. Keep reaching high and remember this is not for others, you doing this for yourself. Good Luck!!
Here is my message for school dropouts:
You make this world less educated
All you do is say "everyone knows i care more about being dated."
Instead of saying, i've got a education.
Kind of stupid but makes a point
In this time, the economy is really bad right now. So that should give every teen and child the motivation to succeed in school. Because you may not know it, but at this moment, a bachelors degree is looking more like a diploma now. So, just imagine how much a high school diploma is worth. Just know that with an education and a college degree, you can make a difference in life.
It doesn't matter what it is, but i believe that everyone should have an education and a chance at succeeding in life. Not only will an education give you the opportunity into getting into amazing colleges and universities but you too can have the chance to be one of those people whom everyone admires for giving it your all and having a really cool job. I guarantee that with a good education you will most likely get a really good, high-paying job, and most importantly you will be a role model to those who say that they can't do it.
At times life hands us roller coasters and we seem like we can't get off the terrible ride...but there is a time when the bad stuff pauses, this is the time to take a chance and take steps to improve what's wrong/going on in your life that you want to improve upon. Coming from a blue collar household, raised by my father who was a work-a-holic, and not having many role models...education was the key for me. I did like sports but that cost money in which I didn't have growing up. Now that i've graduated from college, i'm returning after a 10 year span and trying to get my Master's degree. It's challenging, it's difficult, makes you want to scream and cry at times but I know this will give me a better life...a down payment on a home when the economy turns around, the newer used car I want to buy.
When things seem out of reach, you'll find obtaining an education will put your goals closer within reach. If you don't believe me, that's ok. Continue living your life...is that working for you? If not, do your research, find out what YOU are passionate about and go from there. Take 1 summer class to see if the subject is what you like. Applying for Financial Aid is a must as well, it's not difficult and you can do it online...FAFSA! Go ahead, take a step toward a longer smile and less drama. You can thank the people who support you in everything you do, later on! Peace!!
I just wantted to say that. There isn't a good reason not to stay in school. even if you don't like school that should stop you from maken your dreams come true. I am 19 years old and i have a 2 year old at home and i am in 12 gread yes it can be hard and i'm not saying that every pregnat teen quits school yes it puts stress on you but to help you from quiting or not going back to school just think about how much it can help you and your child out. All you need is support and you have to belive in your self to get throught all the ruft times. If you have faith in your self anything is possibale
