Start a blog or video blog about your cause
If you don't know what blogging is, we have to ask, "Where have you been?"
"Blog" is an abbreviated version of "weblog," a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary. There are blogs online about just about everything; some people write about their lives, the good, the bad and the ugly, others blog about politics or current events. So, yes, there’s plenty of room out there for your blog about your cause.
- Write the blog with personality, people want to hear opinions
- Talk about current events with a focus on your cause or issue
- Partner with other blogs and share links
- Use video whether you create it or just embed it from youtube
- Use http://www.feedburner.com to make your RSS feed more viral
- The more frequent you can post the better, but quality content matters the most even if you only have something to say once every couple weeks
- Be concise, a post should be between a few sentences to a couple paragraphs in most cases
- For more tips on going viral with your cause check out our online website training.

how many people actually read the blogs?
blogs are usually just read by your immediate circle of friends. But if you cover a relative issue for long enough you can build credibility and get listed throughout other sites.
How often should I blog?
I say your should make it every week on a day that you ave NOTHING to do so u can take your time!
I just created a blog on this! GO HERE: http://www.realfactsonabuse.blogspot.com

im 19 and i guess it started when i got into the 9th grade i was always alone and i had just found out that my dad killed himself when i was 3 years old. even when i was with a girl i felt alone and i didnt really know why. i started doing drugs and hurting myself to try and get rid of some of the other pain i was feeling. i still havent gotten any help. its really hard for me to talk to people. i want to die but its hard because everytime i want to i just end up beating myself up and crying. i dont know whats going to happen with my life and it really scares me. im having a lot of trouble in school too i just cant concentrate and i get really anxious i just want to run out. thats all i have to say i just needed to dump everything somewhere and say it to someone because my mom never pays attention to what i say.
hey, well i kind know how you feel. even though i haven't been through it as long as you have i know how you feel. i'm still a high school student and i'm going crazy with everything going on. i feel i never get sleep and i can't do anything right through out the day. i rather just die than go through the day. if you need someone to talk to i'm here. and i'll do the best i can't
if you wanna talk i am here, ill try to give you advice
