Start a Gay/Straight Alliance at your school

Simply go to a student club organizer at school and ask him/ her for papers to start your alliance. Then convince at least 15 people to sign the petition to start the alliance to prove that the club has a large number of members and that it will make a change at your school! Hand it in, and prepare for the first meeting.

Some suggestions for the first meeting include:

  • ice breaker games
  • discussion circle
  • future plans or goals for the alliance
