How To: Make a cause button
Ever seen someone with a cool button and wonder where they got it? Who came up with that catchy phrase? Well, you can do it yourself by visiting the sites listed below. They enable you to create buttons with your own unique message and even a custom image. Who knew! Now you can really wear your heart (and your message) on your sleeve!
Here are the steps:
- Design your button online using your personal message and image. Or you can pick a message and image from a long list.
- Once you're done, you pay for the button and it's shipped directly to you.

-well i think its a good a idea to have a botton or a bag that says the think you wanted to tell the poeple and how it can chatch thier and probaly be intrested in it too.
well i also think that people that are being blame for the things they haven't even done are just wrong. Just like what it says is the Wrongful Imprisonment but its reallity only GOD knows what is wrong and right.

I do this already! My button says "Ask me how you can change a child's life." At first I was self-conscious about it, but now I plan to wear it everyday. I want people to know that there are others in this world dying from lack of basic necessities
I'm going to do this. I think that this is a good start to making a difference. Just showing support can go a long way.

I come from a family that has 4 gay people in them and i love all of them to death...I have tons or buttons...Even when u where a button people look at u as if ur not one of them...It Bugs me but i no in my heart that im doing the right thing.Why cant peole understand that they want to be just as happy as some of us with are Wifes or Husbands

Hey i have 2 gay brothers and know many gay people and when i here or see people degrating them just because they arnt like them it hurts really bad. My brothers are really great people and i love them to death. they cant help being the way they are just like we cant help being straight or bi-sexual. Just because we are different from eachother does not mean that we have to put each other done because we are all human and we all have our sexual preferencec. To thouse people who judge: why judje if you put your self in their shouse maybe you would but you cant do that so since its not hurting you stop discriminating.

i love this idea because if people are like me they notice them right away. my best friend is gay and i constantly stick up for gay people because when they offend gay people it's like they're offending my best friend!!! I really want prop 8 to be repealed because he really wants to get married one day and people taking that away from him is just wrong
Honestly, this is an issue that really shouldn't even have to be addressed. The constitution gives us freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom to express ourselves however we want. I think just because someone is a little different they shouldn't be humiliated or picked on. It's really not fair. I am of a religion most people don't agree with and honestly, its not much fun. What's really strange though, is that the people who don't agree with homosexuals are usually way worse, have worse morals, and would never love someone else as much as a gay man would love his boyfriend. People need to start looking inwards instead of looking outward and finding the wrongs in everyone else. If more people spent more time correcting themselves the world would be a better place....but this world is much too narrow minded, everyone who seems a little different or just a bit off seems to attract everyone else like flies to honey, they become the butt of jokes and someone people use to feel better about themselves. Its not really fair but unless more people stand up and fight, its never going to change. I think this is a great idea.
Oonyx, no offense but that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. So Its up to God and not us to decide if rape, genocide, people/animal abuse etc... is wrong? People are given the ability to decide whats right and wrong.

I disagree with violence against Gay Rights. I mean, if you truly love someone the same sex as you, that should be fine. If it makes you happy then do it! NOBODY should tell you what you should or shouldnt do :( That's horrible.

I think wearing a pin or button really shows the appreciation you have towards change.
Even the smallest of things count.

Zarius1328, no offence to you either, but you really shouldn't be saying that peoples opinions are dumb. What if someone said that YOUR opinion was dumb, how would you feel? I personally think that it is only God that knows what is right and wrong. You can have your opinions, but only God knows the real truth. Plus if we can't trust in God, who can we trust in?

I believe that being gay is a sin; it's stated very clear in the old testament and is not rebuked in the new. I don't think we should treat a gay person cruely, but I don't think we should except thier sin either. Love the sinner, hate the sin. After all, everyone has something they struggle with.If being gay is a sin then why should we treat that sin different than any other. It's like saying we sould just let murderers murder because they are happy that way.

Being homosexual isn't bad like murdering. I don't even see how you could compare Homosexuality to murder. And if there is a sin against being gay, why did God make gay people? I accept gay people and in a free country like the US, I think they should have rights like any other person.

I think anything like wearing a button to support a cause is great...and it's a good way to get the cause and the problem out there. Let people know that there are things happening and we need to join in to help.

you should hand make your own. get some paper right your quote on it and get a safety pin and stick it in the paper then on your shirt! its fun easy and supportive I did this last night! :D

If I was accused of a crime i didn't commit i would be really upset. I think it would be unfair and very wrong.
i think the button is a great idea but i think it should be free to make it and mail it, or at least be able to pick from a selection of free buttons, and then have others than are paid for. i know my parents wouldnt give me money for a button even though it's for a good cause.

How to Make a Button:
1. Go to ACMorre/Michels/Target/You get the general idea, and ask where you can find blank buttons/saftey pins you can stick stuff on.
2. Find a can or like object to trace a circle onto blank peice of paper (i.e. construction paper or printing paper). You might want to print it off of Word to make it look cleaner.
3. Write on it. Ideas are quotes, catchy phrases, and drawings. Tip: If you are taping it on maybe you can get it laminated.
4. Tape it or glue it on.

i love this idea! see at my school all the teachers wear this "duh" buttons which means dont do stupid stuff like sex and drugs before you graduate! it is soo popular that everyone wants one and it has helped out so much!
