Two volunteers on our team have organized a new fundraising program. They are looking for other volunteers interested in becoming eBay "community sellers" by donating a portion of their auction proceeds to 2 nd Chance 4 Pets though eBay's Giving Works program. What is eBay Giving Works? eBay's Giving Works allows sellers to easily and quickly donate proceeds from their eBay sales to a favorite nonprofit --2 nd Chance 4 Pets! What is a "Community Seller"? Anyone registered with eBay can become a community seller. The process is really simple and the benefits can be big! (See: "How You Can Get Involved"). How does the program work? eBay's Giving Works program allows sellers to easily donate 10 to 100% of the final sale price or $5, whichever is greater. The actual cost to the community seller is significantly less, since each auction receives a fee discount equivalent to the percentage of the donation as well as a tax receipt! Furhermore, the item's exposure is increased as the Giving Works ribbon icon will appear next to all auctions where a donation is being made. How you can get involved: Setup is quick and easy! About halfway down the first page of the typical listing template will be a section titled: "Choose how you'd like to sell your item"; under this section you will see the eBay Giving Works logo. Two featured charities will be listed under the eBay Giving works logo along with a link to "Select another non-profit you love" --- click this link! From this page you can search for 2 nd Chance 4 Pets in the search box at the top of the page; when you see 2 nd Chance 4 Pets in the results click "Select" and it will automatically appear in your listing. From there you will see a drop-down box allowing you to select the percentage to donate. Then you are done! Continue your listing as usual and eBay takes care of the rest
