Description
Our successful fledgling chldren's science center is in need of a volunteer who will update our website with new information and has the experience to recommend and/or developmental changes. The volunteer may work on premises or from their home.
Skills
- Demonstrated high standards for customer service and for helping to develop a website with the users' point of view in mind
- A quick learner with a self-teaching approach to investigating new technologies and solving unfamiliar problems
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- High ethical and professional standards and values
- Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Familiarity with the following website applications:
- RSVP capability (Eventbrite, Upcoming, Surveymonkey, etc.)
- Calendar of Events (Google, Localendar, Spongecell, etc.)
- Email Alerts (mail chimp, etc.)
- Blogs (Wordpress, etc.)
- Retail Sales (e-commerce)
- Membership sales
