What Does Your Musical Instrument Say About You?

Whether you're first clarinet in marching band, the star singer in choir, or just like to strum the guitar in your spare time, here's what your instrument says about you (and some celebrities that would have sat in your section).

Cello-Alicia Keys
You don't do anything half-way. You wanted a seat in the strings section, and you weren't going to settle for a wimpy violin.

Trumpet-Justin Bieber
While your spot in band is now held because you love music, when you had to pick an instrument in elementary school you wanted one that complimented your love of loud, sometimes obnoxious distractions.

Guitar-Taylor Swift
You don't just want to play with the band, you want to be able to whip out your instrument at lunch for a quick song. You love an audience and making music part of everyday life.

Piano-Miley Cyrus
You love the fact that the piano is versatile, sounds great playing classical and pop music, and doesn't leave you winded.

Sax-Lisa Simpson
You picked up this massive brass instrument for the ladies; or to prove that ladies can rock some jazz and blues too.

Flute-Alyssa Milano
You're a little girly, and there may or may not be butterfly stickers on your flute case. If you're a guy, you're the popular joker of the band. You're comfortable with who you are and recognize the flute's slingshot potential.

Trombone-Nelly Furtado
You're stick with things. It's not easy to master the slide, but you stuck with it, and now you're able to add the perfect sound effect for sad moments in band.

Drums-Bruno Mars
You have a ton of energy best channeled by rapid beating. If someone hadn't given you a drum, you might have taken up boxing or meat tenderizing.

Tambourine -Joe Jonas
Your love of music and friendships with musicians lead you to band. Snapping six bows and turning blue on the flute led you to the tambourine.

Voice-Lea Michele
You're all about the words, the beautiful lyrics other instruments can't express. Plus you don't have the room or the arm strength for another instrument.

Clarinet-Julia Roberts
You're a little darker and more serious then the flute players. You're instrument case doesn't have stickers, it has your favorite quotes.
