Music is an important part of our lives that we use for personal expression and emotional release everyday. For us, a day without playing an instrument is one day too long! However, because school nowadays is so focused on left-brain subjects like math and science, music education is vital to engage a whole other half of young people's minds.

Our video formed first and foremost from the years of dedication the three of us have put into our respective instruments. But more recently, we were very fortunate when we came across this great scholarship and decided to put our skills to the test. We were pleased to find out how enjoyable making music with your closest friends can be, especially when it sounds great! The video was also a unique experience that allows us to see how we perform while we play.

The biggest challenge of this video was finding the right way to factor everyone's unique ideas into the equation in a way that made everyone happy. Filling a room with three stubborn people to write one song is not easy! But after a while we learned to appreciate each other's outlooks and perspectives to write a song that we believe represents us equally.
