Music education is important to me because I have been in the band program for eight years now, and not only do I love the program, but it has opened up wonderful opportunities for me, in addition to introducing me to new friends, and giving me a way to ease the stress of day to day life by expressing myself with music.
In addition to music, I also actively participate in video production, and a friend told me about this video competition because he thought that it pertained to my interests, and so we decided to work on it together. In the flowing days, we conducted interviews of various band members from our school, created background music, and located pictures and video clips to add to the final product. After a few hours of editing, we submitted the video, and look forward to seeing the results.
The biggest challenge for this video was the final editing, and finding good times to film/interview everyone (the weather has been somewhat rainy lately.) Other than that everything went very well. The interviews were perfect! Everyone just spoke from their heart, and I think that the message that we are trying to convey, that music education is important to us all was very clear.
