Sam Uley may be a werewolf by night but by day this “Twilight” hotty helps out! CGG caught up with actor Chaske Spencer—one of the stars of the much anticipated “Twilight: New Moon” flick out in the fall. Chaske helped stuff backpacks for DS 101 next to Ciara and Leah Renee.

Chaske told us that his parents are teachers so we’re guessing the education cause kind of rubbed off on him. “I thought about being a teacher,” he said, “but acting seemed more fun!” He’s probably right—but we’re still glad he helps out with the cause! Chaske was a history nut back in high-school but he also loved English and, of course, drama.

But his absolute favorite class in school…you’ll never guess. “My favorite was band! I’m a drummer so I really like music.” Fun fact for your Twilight trivia! And Chaske thinks art programs are super important for everyone to experience. “A child who is into music or in band class they excel more in life.” It’s true! Students who participate in arts programs are at least three times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement.
