Alec's gift to actors

via Babble

Looks like Alec is the charitable Baldwin brother. 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin has donated $1 million to his college, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. The cash will create the Alec Baldwin Drama Scholarship Fund. Alec graduated from Tisch in 1994, and he says that the money will go to help students with “work ethic, leadership skills, willingness to collaborate, the ability to tolerate risk, and the capacity to work with constructive criticism.” The scholarship will be for actors with good grades who need the financial help to finish school.

Said Alec: “it's important to give back to those institutions that give us such opportunities, and I encourage anyone to look into supporting their alma mater."
