Alicia Keys ambassador of hope

via keepachildalive.org

Grammy grabbing R&B singer, Alicia Keys, appeared at the cosmopolitan hot spot Manhattan for the screening of the documentary We Are Together. Her philanthropy is like her music, soulful and deep.

The documentary is about the Agape Orphanage in South Africa. This group of kids lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, but they stay strong and happy through each other and through music. To meet them and find out more about the movie, visit their site. Some of the kids came to the US for the screenings and a chance to sing with Alicia. She's the ambassador of the foundation Keep A Child Alive, a program that provides medicine and therapy for families afflicted with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Alicia has also revealed that once she is in the mommy stage of her life, she might adopt children from different cultures. Alicia says she especially admires Angelina and her brood. CGG will update you if Alicia does decide to go International Corp. We are glad to see Alicia creating good Karma and keepin’ it real.
