She may be Clueless on screen, but there's nothing clueless when it comes to Alicia Silverstone's diet. "Like most people, I wasn’t always a vegetarian, but I’ve always loved animals," she told Peta.org. "I’ve been vegan for 10 years, and it’s the single-most important and helpful decision I have ever made. Physically, the effect has been amazing. Once I went vegan, I lost the weight I wanted to lose, my nails were stronger, and my skin was glowing. I feel great, and I look better now than I did 11 years ago." We're not going to argue with that!
And now Alicia's taking that knowledge to share her favorite recipes and more in an upcoming book, The Kind Diet. She'll explain how she made the transformation to a vegan lifestyle, and how you can too. Her no-animal product lifestyle is healthy not just for other living creatures, but also for the planet, she explains.
