Andre Agassi serves up an ace for education

Last night, Andre Agassi celebrated his 13th Grand Slam for Children event at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The celebrity-ridden soiree, which included performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Sheryl Crow, The Killers, Lifehouse, Ray Romano, and David Spade, was a part of the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation to improve education for underprivileged youth.

"It was a party to celebrate many successful years of raising money for undeserved children hand-in-hand with our generous supporters and sponsors," Agassi said. "And at the same time, it was a party to look to the future and what can be accomplished with the Foundation's new mission."

The foundation focuses on helping underprivileged children in Agassi's hometown of Las Vegas by supporting the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, the Andre Agassi Boys and Girls Club, and other programs that provide educational support for at-risk youth.

Surprise guests at the Grand Slam event also included Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, Donny Osmond, and Emeril Lagasse.

All in all, Agassi called the event "a night full of heart."

Glad to see he hasn't actually retired!

i love Natasha Bedingfield and the Killers! Hey, is Sarah Ferguson still a Dutchess? didn't think so.
Anyway, go Andre!

Thats so cool! I wonder if Andre used TONIC to plan his party for a cause lol. If not...he should've!

I admire Andrei for having such a long commitment to his cause. Sometimes you see celebrities latch on to the cause of the moment and never follow through or take real action.
