Angelina Jolie is finishing a four-month shoot for the thriller “Salt,” so you’d think she be relaxing by the pool with Brad. But no—this amazing actress has been running around all month working on her many humanitarian causes. And she just announced today that she will be donating $1 million to help refugees in Pakistan.

Angie has had a busy month working on the indictment of Sudanese President El Bashir and advocating for World Refugee Day with her new PSA. Angie and Brad just gave $1 million to the cancer cause. The dynamic duo’s very own foundation—the Jolie-Pitt Foundation—is truly being put to good use.

As a UNHCR Ambassador, Angie has made three trips to Pakistan where more than 2 million people are currently displaced. She will discuss the plight of Pakistan and the importance of World Refugee Day tonight when she speaks with Anderson Cooper on CNN (you should tune in…we will be!)

Angie is celebrating World Refugee Day with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton a few days early—she is in Washington D.C. right now! You can celebrate it too on Saturday by holding a fundraiser in your hometown to benefit the UN Refugee Agency!
