Ashley Greene is an animal lover

Ashley Greene puts away her fangs when it comes to animal rights. PETA has awarded Ashley with the "Kind Choices Award" for choosing to partner with cruelty-free cosmetics company Avon.

"Ashley and Avon are to be congratulated for encouraging millions of Twilight fans and other young people to choose makeup that's fun, not fatal. Thanks to cruelty-free companies such as Avon, you can get a to-die-for look that no animals had to die for," said Kathy Guillermo, PETA Vice President of Laboratory Investigations.

Avon was the first main cosmetics company to ban animal testing of its products and ingredients. Throughout the years, Avon has been awarded for its animal friendly policies and its fight against breast cancer.

Be like Ashley and make a difference. Consider buying products from companies that employ cruelty-free methods, or if you are 18 and older, join the animal advocacy brigade with the ASPCA.
