News flash!! Guess who was the latest star to end up in rehab? Beyonce! I know, shocking right? Who would’ve thought; she is such a sweet girl.

Psyche! Nope this visit to the rehab is not the usual celebrity drug abuse, well, it is in a way... Everybody knows her from her glorious days in Destiny’s Child and her amazing solo hits. How can we not love her, beautiful, talented, a strong, generous person and a low-key, down-to-earth celebrity. You guys saw her in Dream Girls. Now she has a new role: legendary singer Etta James, a heroin addict in new movie Cadillac Records. To research for her role, Beyonce visited New York’s Phoenix House Center for two weeks, a rehab that treats 5000 addicts a day. Knowles was moved to tears as she watched drug abusers go through detox. She has donated her entire 4 million dollar salary from the movie to this string of drug rehabilitation centers across U.S. Nothing says you care more than giving it your all.

According to statistics, more than 60% of teens said that drugs were sold, used, or kept at their school. Drugs are almost as common as cable TV in some neighborhoods. Teens who abuse drugs are more likely to drop out of school, have unwanted pregnancies, and are at risk of contracting infectious diseases. Check out this link to find out more.
