When you release your first studio album at the tender age of 13, it may be hard to have time to focus on politics. Bow Wow used to think that voting was for “old folks,” but after seeing his family and friends suffer through constant financial trials, this 21-year-old platinum-selling rapper felt compelled to do something. "I used to think going to the mall and hollering at girls (was) more important," he told the AP. "But in reality, we are in a different time now. My focus now is to take it a step further to make a change and vote."
Bow Wow kicked off a 15-city tour yesterday to encourage voter registration in Atlanta, where he toured around local colleges with a large entourage. Other cities on the tour included Baltimore, Boston, Hartford, Mobile, Nashville, NYC, Philly, Richmond, and Washington D.C.
