Brad Pitt released shockingly beautiful photos of recently opened houses, built as part of the Make It Right Foundation. The organization aims to build 150 houses for Hurricane Katrina victims, in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans, where the levees broke. Each house is built by a prominent architect from around the country, and features state-of-the-art designs for safe housing. They are also designed to be environmentally friendly, which such features as solar panels, proving that affordable housing can also be green housing.

So cool to see the houses built! I was in New Orleans when Make it Right was still just an exhibition of pink tents. Still beautiful, but now they're beautiful and practical :)They'll make great homes for the people of New Orleans.

Also, there is such a need for homes like these in Mississippi, where Katrina victims are STILL living in Fema trailers. Brad, make it right in Mississippi too.
It's amazing what Brad has done down there. People don't comprehend that New Orleans is still a mess and it's been over two years since Katrina hit. Entire neighborhoods are completely abandoned, houses gutted and left to rot. It's rather depressing to witness ... I think more celebrities should be doing what Brad and Angelina have done. We can't expect Brad to do it all ... Afterall, he is only one person.
