Look who's at it again! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently gave an early Christmas present to the Global Action for Children foundation, in the form of $100,000!

Despite these tough economic times, Brangelina aren't scamping out when it comes to supporting the causes that are most important to them--including the GAC, which is dedicated to supporting orphans and other vulnerable children, and the families and communities that care for them.

"Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and their family have given Global Action for Children an end of year holiday gift of $100,000," said GAC's executive director, Jennifer Delaney. "This generous gift comes at a critical time--a time in which the global economic crisis threatens survival of programs benefiting children most in need."

Brangelina began their collaboration with the GAC in 2006, when the Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $1 million to the charity. According to tax filings, the power-duo donated over $8 million to various charities that year.

"We are honored by and greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt family's continued commitment to Global Action for Children and our efforts to serve orphans and the most highly vulnerable children living in poverty," Delaney said.

This new grant will support GAC's effort on a recently planned Emergency Presidential Initiative for the World's Children (EPIWC), which ensures that Obama doesn't leave children off the agenda when deciding his new foreign policy plans.

"Helping impoverished children cannot be accomplished only by additional taxpayer dollars," explained Delaney. "The structure of US assistance must be rethought so the bureaucracy can be 'smarter' and target emerging challenges. We urge the new Obama administration to reform foreign assistance and invest in the health and well-being of children in developing nations"

She continued, "With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world. Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child."
