Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the hot Hollywood couple of…forever. They win big, spend big, and, most importantly, they give big. This week they have dropped major dough on cancer care for the new wing of a hospital in Brad’s hometown of Springfield, Missouri.

How much? Try one million big ones. Brad got his family to donate the dollars in order to fund a treatment unit to be named after his mother who is very passionate about children's health issues. How sweet??? The "Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center" will be the newest addition to the St. John’s Hospital and will include a pediatric unit, a 10-bed hospice and larger neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.

This donation will go in the long list of humanitarian deeds the couple has done over the past years. And Brangelina knows where the need is—this charitable couple does their research. They know that cancer causes more deaths every year than deaths caused by AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined.

You can help the cancer cause by giving big in other ways! How about hosting a hat day at school to teach people about protecting themselves against skin cancer?
