CelebsGoneGood: Anything you're doing to give back this holiday season?

Brody Jenner: Actually my girlfriend right now, she’s doing a thing that I’m trying to get involved in because I love the idea so much. And she’s having all the past Playmates—because she’s this year’s Playmate of the Year—all the Playmates that are still alive to this day, from way back in the past to now, starting on Valentine’s Day, they’re all growing their hair out for a full year, and then at the end of the year they’re all cutting their hair and giving it to Locks of Love.

I told her, I’m like, “I want to do that. Let me grow my hair out.” She’s like, “No!” But I told her I’d let her grow her hair out. She told me that idea and I loved it. My brother had his hair really long and cut it, and gave it to Locks of Love; and I wanted to do it, but nobody wants to let me grow my hair out! So I’m trying. I’m going to do it; I mean I’m going to do it anyways. But I thought that was just an incredible idea that she had.

And as far as I go, any kind of charity thing for kids, or anything that I could play with them like the NBA [Entertainment] league, I travel with them a lot, I do things like that. As far as underprivileged kids, you take a bunch of celebrities and get them together to play basketball with them. I love children, and I think that being in this business, you have so much power to be able to open people’s eyes and have people listen. So anytime you get a chance to be a part of a charity or go to a charity event to support, I do it any chance I get. So I’m very fortunate and lucky to be in the position that I’m in. I want to give back.

CGG: Any ideas for kids who are looking to help out this holiday season?

BJ: During the holidays I think that food drives are very important. I think that a lot of people can become apart of food drives and bring canned food. I think that if you ever see any kind of canned food that’s just lying around your house, put it together and do a food drive.
