While some celebs are heading off to their summer houses in the Hampton’s or taking their yachts to Hawaii, others are getting down to business for worthy causes. And R&B singing sensation Christina Milian is one of them—not a surprise given her long history of charity work. This time, she is going back to her Cuban roots to dig up a design for a unique, special edition t-shirt that will be auctioned off for charity!

The shirt will be the key auction bid in the second annual Latino fashion show and auction called "Piensa Mas Alla" or “Think Beyond.” The event will benefit an awesome charity called the Palomita Education Fund and will take place on May 29th at Terra SF in San Francisco.

The event is expected to draw over 500 VIP’s of the Latino community together at a night that will celebrate fashion, art and Latino culture. Other VIPs include Rosario Dawson, Eva Longoria, Andy Garcia, Tony Romo, and Jaslene Gonzalez.

The event and the proceeds from the auction will benefit Palomita Education Fund’s contribution to Latino education. The state of California has the largest Latino population in the United States, largely from immigrants coming in from Mexico. The non-profit organization promotes higher education and professional growth to young Latinos and provides scholarships for them to achieve their dreams.

Christina is no stranger to the cause. As a young Latina women herself, she was happy to work with the organization. She has been a key role model to teens throughout her singing career, working with organizations like Children Uniting Nations where she was a big sister to foster children. She has also started to write two books targeted toward teenage girls that exemplify healthy ways of finding happiness.
