Every year, hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals are slaughtered on the coastal ice fields of Canada for their pelts. Over 95 percent of these seals are just days or weeks old. In that past three years alone, nearly one million baby seals have been clubbed or shot to death. But now, celebrities are joining together to speak up for an end to this brutal hunt!

The rap video above was filmed over a series of months to support The Humane Society of the United States Protect Seals campaign. In it, New Kids on the Block, Jessica Szohr, Kate Flannery, Katrina Bowden, CariDee English, Gracie Mercedes, Damien Fahey, and Susie Castillo all spread the word about the hunt (which is set to take place again in March 2009) to try to put an end to the killings of these defenseless seals.
