Pink, Beyonce and T.I. speak out on Veterans Day

This is a very special Veteran's Day. For we Americans are not only remembering the soldiers who fought for our country and our ideals in the past; we're also honoring the troops who have fought -- and are still fighting -- in Iraq and Afghanistan today. These wars have resulted in 1.6 million American veterans, many of whom are under 25, and half of which have been diagnosed with some sort of mental illness as a result of their tours of duty.
That's why Pink is drawing attention to the Bill of Rights for American Veterans (BRAVE) Petition, which calls on elected officials to prevent veteran homelessness, treat mental health issues, and to give disabled vets the benefits they've earned.
"One-third of homeless people in the United States are veterans," says Pink. "Absolutely go out there and sign the Bill of Rights for American Veterans."
Other celebs supporting this petition are T.I. ("They fought for us, he says. "Now it's our turn to fight for them") and Beyonce. "Tell Washington that we need to give our veterans the respect and support that they deserve," she says.
Another famous vet supporter? LeAnn Rimes, who has worked with the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes to donate modified cars to Iraq war veterans.
