Last Wednesday, celebs rolled up in hybrid cars to walk down the green carpet in eco-friendly frocks for the 18th Annual Environmental Media Awards in LA. The EMA awards seek to reward those in the entertainment industry who "convey environmental messages in the most creative and influential ways," according to their website.

Among the stars who came to support the EMA's were Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Wilmer Valderrama, Jaime King, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lance Bass, and Amy Smart.

And among the night's top winners were Honoree Rosario Dawson, Director Sean Penn's movie Into the Wild for Best Feature Film, and Producer Tina Fey's show 30 Rock for Best Television Episodic Comedy.

Also, guess what show won a Green Seal Award? Teen Choice Awards 2008 (who's officially charity sponsor was Do Something by the bye)!!!

All in all, the 2008 EMA were a major environmental success. We're just "green" with envy (a-ha, a-ha) we couldn't make it out to LA for this!

Now check out ways you can help support our environment in your own town!
