The Kid’s Choice Awards are becoming one of the best attended and most voted for events in town. This year’s awards show reeled in a record breaking 90 million votes, more than American Idol!

As the stars flooded the Kid’s Choice Award ceremony at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Saturday, kids waited to hear the results of their cast votes for the 18 categories. As for the young stars like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus, and the JoBros, they didn’t sweat the pressure of winning or loosing, but got to release their inner kid and come out to play on the orange carpet.

And it was no surprise who took home best flick: High School Musical 3 toppled the competition. The movie’s leading lady--Vanessa Hudgens--also won best actress. She showed up in style with boyfriend Zac Efron in tow. Their garb was laid back and casual and their attitude was humble in front of their young fans.

Zac took the opportunity to thank the young fans for their support: "Lately, a lot of people have been taking credit for bringing back the musical," Zac said while accepting the movie's trophy. "The truth is we've known who's been responsible for bringing back the musical all along. It was you guys!"
