CGG Must See: Oceans
via Ecorazzi
Take a dive into the deepest parts of the ocean… without even getting your feet wet! Disneynature’s new film, Oceans, debuted on Earth Day and since then, its thousands of viewers have helped to protect more than 35,000 acres of coral reef in the Bahamas, an effort spearheaded by the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund and The Nature Conservancy’s Adopt a Coral Reef program. The Bahamian area alone is home to 30% of all coral reefs in the Atlantic Ocean.
The film reveals stunning, never-before-seen footage of the most mysterious corners of the underwater world, and the creatures that inhabit them. Oceans’ director Jacques Cluzaud speaks of the film as an invitation “to be a part of marine life—to share all the emotions engendered by the exploration of the last great wild expanse: wonder, fear, calm, tenderness, violence, vitality, power.”
Become a fish among fish! Explore the beauty and fragility of our Earth’s amazing marine life, and join the movement to protect Earth’s aquatic environment for today and future generations. And while you’re at it, you can make a wave in your music playlist by downloading Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato’s charity single, which also benefits Disney’s Worldwide Conservation Fund!
