Ciara came out to the star-studded Express TXT L8TER party at Nobu in LA last night. The event was campaigning for people to stop texting while driving. Other stars like Rachel Bilson, Mandy Moore, Paris, and Nicky Hilton came out to show their support too.

But our Do Something 101 songstress was not just there for the party. She is involved with the campaign as well! Express is giving you some safety tips with your fashion now--they’ve teamed up with a group of celebs like Ciara, Jesse McCartney, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Brea Grant who wear the shirts that read: “HIT THE ROAD. TXT L8R.” Bracelets are sooo out so it seems the new wave of causey fashion will be printed Tees people (duly noted).

We love this fashion forward thinking! Express partnered up with RADD (Recording artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving) to create an awareness campaign amongst teens on safe driving. It may seem silly, but texting and driving is no joke—it is just as dangerous as drunk driving.

So hit the road and text later this summer (and always). The deadliest months of the year for teenage motor vehicle fatalities are the summer months of June, July and August. Check out the PSA and take an “I will not text and drive” oath to get a voucher for a free tee with any jeans purchase on Express’ site.
