As we reported a couple months ago, the Summit on the Summit Kilimanjaro climb is a star-studded trek to raise money and awareness about the importance of clean drinking water. Last week, celeb climbers Jessica Biel, Isabel Lucas, and Lupe Fiasco were joined by supporters like Justin Timberlake, Zach Braff, and JoJo at a Pre-Ascent event to celebrate the upcoming climb. The event also celebrated the involvement of PUR Water Filtration – for every PUR system purchased, the company provides one week of clean drinking water for children in developing countries (just one more reason to ditch that plastic bottle and go with tap water!)
