What do Emile Hirsch, Jessica Biel, Isabel Lucas, and Lupe Fiasco have in common? No, they don’t just rub shoulders at fancy Hollywood bashes. The unlikely group joined singer, Kenna, today to climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Yup, you read that read and no it’s not for a movie or music video. The devoted stars are climbing Africa’s highest peak to raise awareness on behalf of the over one billion people who don’t have access to clean drinking water.

The crew kicked off their climb today, as part of Summit on the Summit’s expedition. Summit on the Summit is Kenna’s brain child and he hopes that the trek will raise money and awareness to provide clean drinking water worldwide. You can sponsor the climb on Summit on the Summit’s fun interactive website, which will track their ascent up the 20,000 foot Tanzanian mountain. And don’t worry,the celeb-climbers are playing it safe; they’re accompanied by professional climbers, athletes, scientists, and doctors.

They’ll be hiking for the next week, so be sure to track their progress, get involved, and spread the world about the worldwide water crisis.
