In the wee small hours of Friday morning, Mandy Moore helped ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on account of Coach Cares.
The iconic brand established Coach Cares in an effort to partner with celebrities and support their cause of choice. Here's how it works: each celeb chooses their fave handbag of the season, and Coach donates 20% of the bag's proceeds to the star's denoted cause through Dec. 31!
Mandy has picked Peace Games as her charity, which strives to empower children to create their own safe classroom environments by forming strong relationships with elementary schools, families, and young adults.
"Peace Games hopes to end violence in all its forms and change society's perception of violence and its association with young people," Mandy told Coach. "This is something I definitely stand behind and am proud to be a part of."
Other celebs who have joined the Coach Cares project include Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Evangeline Lilly, Ali Larter, Halle Berry, Eva Longoria, Rebecca Romijn, and Rosario Dawson.
