Corbin Bleu needs your help! The In The Heights star is asking fans to get swabbed to see if they could become potential donors for 11-year-old Shannon Tavarez, a young Broadway star with acute leukemia.
On Friday, July 16, Corbin participated in a bone marrow drive at DKMS, the world's largest marrow donor center. Earlier that day, Corbin went to NY PIX Morning News' studios and even got swabbed live on air. After showing his fans how easy the procedure was, he encouraged everyone to get swabbed and help Shannon. He even spoke to her on the phone and wished her a speedy recovery!
Want to see Shannon return to Broadway? Listen to Corbin and get swabbed! Also, if you are between the ages of 18 and 55, you can register to become a bone marrow donor. And don't forget to learn more about cancer and ways you can help.
