They sure do! A CGG through and through, Matt Damon will be the recipient of the fourth annual Joel Siegel Award during tonight's Critics' Choice Movie Awards.
The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) will present Damon with the honor for his inspiring work as an active philanthropist and his dedication to various causes (from hunger relief to human rights!). Not only did he co-found Water.org, but Damon is also a spokesperson for Feeding America, an ambassador for ONEXONE, and he even helped found Not On Our Watch too.
That Matt Damon is one busy guy!
BFCA President Joey Berlin has said, "Matt personifies the values celebrated by the Joel Siegel Award... Clearly Matt understands, as Joel did, that the true value of celebrity is as an enhanced platform to do good works for others."
