Matt Damon, Wyclef Jean and David Arquette came out to support a One X One event last week which honored the Foundation's new partner, Feeding America. But the boys took it one step further by making a surprise visit on Thursday to one of Feeding America's agency food banks in San Francisco to help pack boxes.
That's because 150,000 people in San Francisco struggle each day to get nutritious meals for themselves and their families. However 194 food banks, like the one Matt, Wycleff and David visited, are dedicated to providing food to locals within San Francisco alone.
Each year, Feeding America feeds more than 25 million Americans who live without consistent access to nutritious food, including nine million children and three million senior citizens.
Also, to date One X One has raised over $7 million for its charitable partners, with Feeding America now being a part of this list.

And their efforts are so timely since the current food crisis is affecting so many people world wide!
And if anyone out there wants to fight hunger in their community - you should start a Feed the Need drive! Check out www.dosomething.org/feedtheneed to get started.
