Friend of CGG David Archuleta is about give some needy people a little TLC. The American Idol runner-up and his organization, Angels for a Cause, have teamed up with the Lisa Lopes Foundation to raise $10,000 to launch a new medical center in Honduras. The Lisa Lopes Foundation is named after the late TLC singer Lisa Lopes, who died in 2002, and who always dreamed of opening educational and medical centers.

Honduras is the second poorest country in Central America as well as having the highest HIV/AIDS rates, and an estimated 1.5 million citizens lack access to health care. The country is also undergoing serious political unrest, and has been accused of denying basic human rights to its citizens.
