Major League Baseball, aka MLB, is throwing out all the stops in honor of the 2008 All-Star Game. The best part about it, they’re doing it in style.
Not only was there a 18-block, 95,000 square feet long “green” red—and get this—recycled (yay!) carpet covering New York City’s own streets, but it brought out the best of the best including Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, and Willie Mays, in addition to American and National League all stars like Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz
Going green and going the distance, seriously.
