It's just been just a little over two weeks since the tragic plane crash of DJ AM and Travis Barker, which claimed the lives of four people, bodyguard Charles Still, Barker's assistant Chris Baker, and the two pilots Sarah Lemmon and James Bland. And yet friends are already taking up the call to help their friends.

While DJ AM and Travis Barker, continue to heal, close friends have organized a benefit concert planned for Oct. 14 is Los Angeles, with all proceeds going toward a memorial fund for the crash victims. Celebrity DJs including Steve Aoki, Danny Masterson, Mixmaster Mike and Mark Ronson are scheduled to perform.

It sucks that it takes something awful like this in order for people to learn about an important issue. Burn victims have it rough. Really rough. Its going to be interesting to see how this changes AM and Trav.

Very cool...good for the hipsters for rallying for a very good cause.

I'm so glad the money is going toward the victims. Travis and AM survived because they were sitting behind their body guard and assistant. It's really sad on all counts.
