Just weeks after the plane crash which killed four, and left DJ AM and Travis Barker with severe burns, AM, aka Adam Goldstein, opened up to People about what may have saved his life.

So I started rolling." The advice he remembered from childhood fire safety classes helped save his life. He's still recovering from second and third-degree burns, taking it one step at a time.
