Eva is fur-free

Eva Mendes is the latest star to jump on the anti-fur bandwagon. Working with - yup, you guessed it - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Eva has recorded a video about why she's so against wearing fur. Says Eva: "at a time when there is so much violence in the world, this is one type of violence that all of us can help stop."

The day after Thanksgiving is Fur-Free Friday - it's a day when animal orgs around the world encourage people to learn more about fur and pledge to never buy or wear it. Eva's video for PETA is pretty graphic - it shows footage of animals on fur farms, so we won't post it here. Head over to the PETA website if you want to see it - but be warned that it contains some frightening imagery.
