Last night, CGG took a break from the absolute madness that is New York Fashion Week, and attended an intimate gathering at songbird Vanessa Carlton's Soho loft for her send-off party to the Arctic.

Yes, you heard us right-Vanessa, along with celebs KT Tunstall, Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker, Feist, and music artists Laurie Anderson and Brian Eno are voyaging on a 9-day trip with Cape Farewell to the Arctic Circle for a first-hand look at how global warming is really affecting our world.

Vanessa's immaculate but cozy home opened its (elevator) door to Feist, Laurie Anderson, Moby, and Julia Stiles; along with some of her close friends who all schmoozed together while enjoying organic cheese and eco-friendly vodka. On top of it all, guests were also spoiled with a live two-song set that Vanessa performed on one of her grand pianos as the night's entertainment!

CGG had a fabulous time mingling with the green stars (and Vanessa's adorable dog, Viktor.) While there, we caught up with Feist on her expectations for the unusual yet empowering trip, and what she's currently doing to make her tours conserve more energy.
